PhD Joanna Myszkowska-Ryciak

Joanna Myszkowska-Ryciak, PhD (habilitated) Graduated from the Faculty of Human Nutrition and Consumer Sciences, Warsaw University of Life Sciences (WULS) in Warsaw with Master's Degree in nutrition and dietetics, obtained a doctorate in 2005 with the dissertation thesis on the impact of meals frequency of on the protein utilization in growing rats with cooperation with Wageningen Agricultural University, Holland. Habilitated in 2019. For over 15 years she has been working at the Department of Dietetics at WULS as teacher, tutor and an assistant professor. She provides courses in diet therapy, paediatric dietetics and dietary prevention of diet related diseases in Polish and in English. She is the promoter of 100 diploma theses (Bachelor and Master). Particularly interested in children nutrition, obesity therapy, eating disorders and diabetes. Supervisor and researcher in health educational programs.
